The SCHBC fellowship brings together a diverse array of professionals committed to promoting health and wellbeing of their workforce. Through collaboration and shared expertise, our fellows actively identify pathways and implement solutions to cultivate a thriving and sustainable future for our workforce and communities.
About the Fellowship
The exclusive SCHBC Fellowship represents a robust interdisciplinary stakeholder network of South Carolina’s business leaders with the knowledge, skills, and desire to collaborate and support each other in identifying pathways and executing solutions for a healthier future.
Fellow Commitment:
South Carolina Healthy Business Challenge fellows are required to attend all four half-day sessions that will take place in the Lowcountry, Midlands and Upstate regions to meet the SCHBC Fellowship certification requirement.

Quarterly Sessions:
Each session focuses on a different aspect of organizational wellbeing including, but not limited to policy change/improvement, establishment of health-promoting systems and optimizing the built environment.

Fellowship Designation:
Upon completing the SCHBC Fellowship Program, participants will be designated as SCHBC Organizational Wellbeing Leadership Fellows for the subsequent three years.​

This esteemed certification not only signifies their commitment to advancing organizational wellbeing but also grants them access to a dynamic network of like-minded leaders.

SCHBC mentors will provide support, including an initial worksite visit and ongoing mentorship throughout the fellowship program.

Join half-day quarterly sessions to network with fellow leaders, exchange best practices, and build a supportive community.

Throughout the program, fellows will have the opportunity to track and measure the impact of their initiatives on employee wellbeing. This data-driven approach ensures that organizations can demonstrate tangible improvements in key wellbeing metrics over the course of the fellowship.
